Nearly everyone is aware that engine filtration is an important element in extending engine life. Spin-on filters are far superior to engine oil screens, and are an important step in taking care of your engine.

PROTECT YOUR FIREWALL
Anyone who has tried to change a spin-on filter knows how tight they can get. Removal can be a difficult process and wrenching off a firewall-mounted spin-on can cause firewall damage and or distortion. Not with our unit--it has a built-in anti-torque device which allows you to place a standard 3/4" wrench on the unit to aid in removal of spin-ons without firewall damage. No other spin-on adapter has this feature. And, our mounting bracket is over twice the size of the competition’s, further protecting your firewall. These design improvements do not add to the overall dimensions of the ADC unit, but significantly add to its effectiveness.

PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT
Another design feature is the ability to add the optional ADC Chip Detector. Our chip detector easily installs into the ADC spin-on adapter and catches metal particles which may be suspended in the oil flow. If the unit’s magnet attracts metal chips, it will activate an instrument panel-mounted caution light, warning you early of potentially serious engine wear. In actual cases the ADC chip detector has been reported to prevent in-flight engine failure that otherwise would have gone unnoticed. It’s a real aircraft, engine and even life saver, and is the least expensive insurance you can buy for your aircraft.

Send us back the ADC spin-on adapter, and we will give you a credit toward the ADC Oil Filter System. It uses the same bolt pattern, same hoses and same engine adapter.
